Live guide Catherine Stephens-Ward talks about a work placement in Berlin that came about through her work with Artes Mundi.

Ben Borthwick, who joined Artes Mundi from Tate Modern last autumn, unveiled a new long term partnership with Mostyn in Llandudno. Following each Artes Mundi cycle, one of the shortlisted artists will be invited to present a solo exhibition in Mostyn’s recently refurbished galleries the year after the prize.

The fourth Artes Mundi Exhibition and Prize took place in 2010.

Over 500 shoppers at St David’s Dewi Sant in Cardiff created this giant virtual map which grew and changed over a period of two days.

A new art map includes a Google map of Cardiff, details of the major contemporary art venues there and information about some of the artistic groups that run in the city.

Congratulations to Tessa Jackson, founding Artistic Director and Chief Executive of Artes Mundi who has been included on the New Years Honours List and is to be awarded an OBE (Order of the British Empire) for services to art.
