Isabel Carlos
Isabel Carlos is an established independent curator based in Lisbon, Portugal.
Carlos was Artistic Director of the Sydney Biennale 2004 On Reason and Emotion and has curated many major exhibitions including more recently the Portuguese Pavilion at the 52nd Venice Biennale, 2005; Inhabitated Drawing – Helena Almeida, Drawing Center, New York, 2004 and Initiare, Centro Cultural de Belém, Lisbon in 2000. Carlos also founded the Instituto de Arte Contemporânea (IAC) in Lisbon and was Deputy Director between 1996 and 2001.

Bisi Silva
Bisi Silva is an independent curator and art critic based in Nigeria and London.
Silva has curated exhibitions in the United Kingdom and in West Africa, including co-curating the Dakar Biennale 2006. She has written for Art Monthly, Creative Camera, Third Text and NKA, a journal of contemporary African Art. She is on the editorial board of N Paradoxa, an international feminist art journal. Bisi Silva is currently working on the inaugural exhibition of contemporary art from Africa for the National Museum of Mali in Bamako and an exhibition of Finnish photography at the 7th African photography biennale in Bamako in September and November 2007 respectively. Bisi has an MA in Curating Contemporary Art from the Royal College of Art, London.
